Therapy for Tweens & Teens in California

Change is hard, and transitioning from being a child to a young adult can be a challenging leap. Many teens that come to therapy seek guidance and support in understanding themselves and those around them. It is a confusing time being a teen today, especially in a post-pandemic world, the social media craziness, and the demands of high academic and athletic success. As a therapist working with children/teens, I know the value and importance of this work, especially now when all they may need is a safe, neutral place to process their overwhelming emotions without judgment or rejection.

The teens I work with struggle with many issues, such as anxiety, anger, depression, and perfectionism. And other times, those same teens need help navigating a demanding teacher, a difficult friendship, understanding their emotions, or dealing with a breakup.

Pricing: $175.00 per 45-minute session

If you feel your child/teen needs a safe haven while they venture into uncharted waters, therapy may be a good start. Connect with me today, and let's talk.

Individual Therapy for Adults in California

At times we can feel overwhelmed with fear and anxiety or stuck in life patterns that do not allow us to access the life we had hoped for. Part of the "stuckness" can come from past experiences and perspectives we learned from an early age. Part of it can come from current experiences that leave us feeling lost, afraid, or like we have no control.

When you work with me, you can expect compassion and acceptance. I am a genuine, compassionate, and playful therapist. I use insight, art, and play to help my clients soothe their pain, regain hope, and bring joy back into their lives. From time to time we will revisit your childhood wounds, as well as its gifts, so that you can free yourself from those negative messages and behaviors that might be hurting you or your loved ones.
